calarco/juarez - tierra abierta

Two great artists from Argentinia teamed up for a massive 14-minute sound piece: Juan Jose Calarco and Adrian Juarez. Both artists are wellknown from many releases on multiple Net- and CDr-labels all around the globe. "Tierra Abierta" is a subtle composition. The essential groundwork on this release, holding everything together, are fieldrecordings. You can hear many natural sound like rain, creaky woods, whistling winds and rustling leaves. This earth-bound ambience is arranged artfully with generated sounds which are layered and woven together with the fieldrecording-material. The calm before the storm. http://www.archive.org/download/rb034/rb034_vbr_mp3.zip
