BayCityBlues-TheRomanticMoods

The Romantic Moods of Bay City Blues (title and cover allude ironically to cocktail music and lounge) is a DOUBLE PROGRAM CD who join two different aspects of the band. First part originates from Thirdo, third original work of Bay City Blues, realized in 1997 by Corey/Ford/Nirdlinger with Judy Asquith, voice in quite a lot tracks. This work had a strange destiny: the group ends mixing almost all the tracks but the work was never released. Because of this failure the dissatisfaction of Corey for its vocal parts. The definitive edition, remixed and handled by the group, has a tracklist of only 12 songs that clearly show the evolution of the band. From Noise a thick use of audio materials is added (noises, vinyl, cd, samplings) in an original declination of the plunderphonics. Second part : Bay City Blues Play Records, compiled from live tapes recordings, force to extreme the aesthetics of plagiarism, set in montage from cinephile reminescence mixing their song side with a caotic form of free improvisation. A work, this last, abreast of the published titles as Propane 100%. N.B. In This item appear only the first part of the program http://www.archive.org/download/BayCityBlues_TheRomanticMoods/BayCityBlues_TheRomanticMoods_64kb_mp3.zip
